Harry W. Hersey III, CN
President of Goldshield Elite
A leader in the natural health industry, Harry W. Hersey III currently serves as an Operating Board Director and President of Goldshield Elite. His outstanding qualities make his lectures an inspiration for all. He is eager to share his knowledge and experience in dealing with health related issues and the direct selling industry.
Harry is a BA Honors Graduate of the University of Florida, joining the Goldshield team in July 2000 when his family business, Golden Pride International, was acquired. Beginning in 1992, he managed Golden Pride and served as President and CEO for the past five years. In his previous corporate engagement, Harry established a successful track record of award winning personal sales, marketing and recruiting accomplishments. He is a Certified Nutritionist and a well-respected public speaker, and currently serves as the youngest member of the Board of Directors for the United States Direct Selling Association.
Harry lives with his wife Julie, and daughters Hailey and Haiden in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Troy A. Sanford, N.D., CN
Vice President of Field Operations
Troy Sanford makes listening to a health talk show fun and interesting. Personal health issues are among the most important topics people face everyday. Troy provides a qualified, fresh and understandable perspective on a vast array of health topics.
Six years of post graduate study in natural health has lead him to convey a unique understanding of health and nutrition. Graduating with honors, he has the formal training and experience to empower others with a straightforward message of health and wellness.
Troy shares his knowledge of health and nutrition through numerous speaking engagements across North America. He motivates and empowers his audiences with dynamic yet easy to understand explanations of health topics. His specialty is in personal nutrient and metabolic testing to determine individual nutrient needs.
Troy resides with his wife Sandy, and sons Tucker, Tanner and Spencer in Jupiter, Florida.
Melissa Viola
Director of Operations
With over ten years of extensive consumer direct marketing experience, combined with a keen sense of essential business practices, Melissa is an invaluable asset to the successful operation of Goldshield Elite.
Starting her career as Sales Manager for Direct Link Software, a division of Turbo Tax (Intuit), Melissa excelled for over 3 years. Joining Golden Pride (acquired by Goldshield in 2000) in 1994, Melissa rapidly advanced within the company to her current position as Director of Operations.
As Director of Operations, Melissa oversees the daily operations of Goldshield Elite including all online functionality, reward plan structure and payment, product inventory assessment, compliance and regulatory issues, financial management, and customer service.
Melissa and her two children Zachary and Madison, live in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Marilyn Gemino
Director of Marketing
Marilyn joined Goldshield in 2002, bringing with her over 25 years of marketing and operations experience. Having started her career with
Dun & Bradstreet, Marilyn held various positions in product brand marketing, business development, pre-sales consulting and corporate operations.
As Director of Marketing for Goldshield Elite, Marilyn has overall responsibility for the Marketing Department including communications, collateral material development, special programs and initiatives, electronic media and content development, and creative services. Her extensive background and keen capabilities are critical to the overall marketing efforts of Goldshield Elite.
Marilyn holds of Bachelor’s Degree in Business from the University of New Haven, is an avid fitness enthusiast, and lives in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida with Munchie.
